If you are a teacher or librarian and would like Tom to visit your school or library, you can contact Tom on info@tompalmer.co.uk too. Tom does visits three or four days a week and is very happy to visit anywhere in the UK, travelling from his Yorkshire base.

The main activity Tom does is the Football Reading Game. A game of two halves, it is part quiz and part penalty shoot out. Tom talks about great football reading in newspapers, magazines and books, as well as encouraging students to discuss what they like to read. The game ends with a shoot out in Tom's 8 x 5 foot inflatable goal, with a library-friendly sponge ball.

Tom also talks about his books, how he wrote them and the exciting research he has to do in football stadiums.
